We believe there are only 2 kinds of music: SHIT and GOOD SHIT! The kind you play is determined by how you practice....
Before Utopia, we opened Berzerker Studios,
an arts center for rehearsal, recording and shows (flash animation courtesty of Jeff Carline, RIP). We had lots of good times there, but Berzerker was sort of a trial run. Utopia smokes that place! Now we have a killer lounge, 3x more space, our own parking lot, far better PAs, fully-equipped rooms, lower hourly rates, better storage, more private rooms, we stay open later...if you haven't seen the new place yet YOU REALLY SHOULD!
Utopia provides equipped and unequipped practice rooms by the hour or the month. Your rehearsals are the focus of this whole business, not a sideline for something else.

Hey Buddy we're playing at the Library next Saturday, are you coming out!!! This is going to be a big show for us and the lineup is great and tickets are only 6 bucks for one or 2 for 10(Thats 5 bucks for 5 bands)! Plus we'll be playing a brand new song for you guys, woohoo!!!

This is going to be a great night. The show starts at 5:00. We'll go on later around 7:00 maybe. We won't know until the show date exactly what order the bands will play. There will be a lot of great bands to see and we'll be there too. Tell the door guy at the Fubar that you are there at our invitation (or we don't get credit for bringing friends which is the name of the game)...
We continue to book shows. The next event will be fun and crazy stuff at Broadway Bistro Zoo on September 12th. Fun and sexy adult entertainment. More info to follow shortly.
Hey there- we're doing a CD release show for the new album "The Status Quo" at The Library tonight with Beth Bombara and Corey Saathoff Band! That's at 706 Lafayette (64/40 to 14th St. Exit/Right on 14th/Left on Lafayette) at 9 PM. This Library has beer instead of books and three rockin' bands tonight- come check it out! :)
