Vice President-Kamille Garcia She's a sophomore at UTPB majoring in psychology and going for a teacher certification. She wants to take her certifcation and use it to go into school counseling because as we all know teenagers are very emotional! She's been apart of Invisible Children since her senior year at PHS. She values education very much and that's why she loves working with IC. "We are helping children that are actually wanting to learn. It amazes me how much these children put so much into their studies." Her other passions include reading, eating, listening to music, and being Asian of course!
Fundraising Coordinator- Joneisha Anderson Joneisha is a 19 year old Odessa native. She graduated from Permian High in 2007 and served as a band captain in the Permian Band. She loved everything about band and the leadership role that she was elected to. She graduated with honors, even while maintaing a full time job. She loves going to concerts and listening to music, especially her favorite band Audioslave. This is her sophomore year at UTPB where she is currently majoring in communications with a minor in history. She first found out about Invisible Children three years ago when Permian showed Invisible Children:Rough Cut at the Ector Theatre. "This documentary really made me change my aspect on how i was living and made me Re-evalute everything im thankful for. This organization is something I am really proud of, and I look forward to spreading the urgency of this cause around to those who arent aware."

Last but not least, our Morale Officer- Max Phillips.
He's a freshman, blind in one eye, deaf in one ear, got webbed toes, and just happens to be diabetic. He enjoys bein awesome, television, sports, and has an addiction to Diet Coke. His favorite president is Bill Clinton, His worst enemy is Hillary Clinton, so you can imagine how awkward it would be for him to meet his idol. He's voting for Obama,cause Obama's the shit. His favorite movie is the Departed. He happens to be a BAMF, among other things, like amazing, great, and quite the charmer. Women love him, and men want to be him, and how can you blame them. Just look at the above photo, and how can you not be swooned? He also loves his hoodies, hats on his head, and watch out, cause he's takin the world by storm.
About me: Schools for Schools is a fundraising program created by the nonprofit Invisible Children Inc. The goal of the program is to have students and schools in the western world creatively compete to raise money and rebuild schools in northern Uganda, a region whose education standards and facilities have suffered due to the long-lasting war in the north of the country.
S4S @ UTPB is a new club dedicated to raising money for our partner school in Uganda.

Come join the Young Democrats of U.T.P. B and the U.T.P. B Young Republicans this Friday, September 26th to watch Barack Obama's and John McCain's first debate. You know that you were going to watch it at home anyway, so come out joing the young dems's and young rep's as we host our first co-sponsered event. There will be food, drinks, friends, and great times.
