U-U (pronounced 'You You') is from Sunderland, North-East UK. U-U sings about things he dislikes and things we have. We like U-U, he holds us together.
U-U has been seen in a few forms: as one person, three or sometimes four... either way, does it or should it matter? I'll leave that to you...

Article from The Metro - words by Andrew Fenwick
With his School Of Language project picking up steam on both sides of the Atlantic, plus time spent moonlighting in his brother Peter’s band, The Week That Was, you might expect David Brewis to take a rest now and again.
But, the ever-prolific Field Music man has been spending his spare hours overseeing the debut of Sunderland band U-U.
Rather oddly, the structured touches we might expect of Brewis are absent on the group's self-titled three-track EP, due out in October. Instead, frontman Anthony Steel affixes his airy – and occasionally eerie – half-sung, half-spoken vocals to dense riffs and double-speed drumming.
Not much is currently known about U-U, an air of mystery supported by the EP's weird artwork, which would look at home on a Tim Burton film set.
It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission
