UVERSA is the brainchild of guitarist/composer TJ Edwards, who formed the group in 2000
after writing, recording, and producing the debut album UVERSA.
The groups music is an extreme energy experience popular on the jam-band scene. Blending a variety of musical styles, UVERSA doses their music with heavy grooves, ultra-surreal sounds and plenty of jamming to create an intriguing sonic experience.
Featuring acoustic and electric guitars, synthesizer, acoustic and electronic drum loops, and exotic instruments,
UVERSA is reminiscent of various improvisation-based groups such as Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Santana, Medeski Martin and Wood, Ozric Tentacles, Led Zeppelin, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
