Bio:
Nach meinem Studium am Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, CA von 1989 bis 1991 war ich der Schlagzeuger in der ZDF Fernsehserie Knoff-Hoff-Show. Ab 1997 spielte ich zahlreiche Musicals in Hamburg und arbeitete am Schmitz Tivoli Theater. Von 1998 bis 2001 tourte ich mit verschiedenen Produktionen des Musicals Hair durch die Welt. Im Jahre 2001 wurde ich festes Mitglied bei Albie Donnelly’s Supercharge und war Dozent am Drummers Institute in Düsseldorf. In 2005 zog ich nach New York City und tourte mit der „Dirty Sock Funtime Band“ , einer Rock Band für Kinder die großen Erfolg im Amerikanischen Kinder fernsehen (Nickelodeon) hat. Außerdem spielte ich noch mit meiner eigenen band „The UP Jazz Trio“ und zahlreichen Künstlern der New Yorker Musik Szene. Als studio Musiker hatte ich die Ehre mit u.a. „Dr. John“ aufzunehmen. In den letzten 2 Jahren lebte ich in Los Angeles, wo ich einige film Musiken für den Komponisten John Piscitello einspielte und schrieb mein erstes Schlagzeug buch „Jumpstart Drumset Method“ was ende 2010 von Mel Bay erhältlich ist. Mein zweites Buch „A Guide To Blues Drumming“ wird 2011 auf den Markt kommen. Seit Anfang 2010 bin ich wieder in Deutschland und unter anderem mit Albie Donnelly’s Supercharge unterwegs und unterrichte an der Music-Academy in Viersen. Firmen mit denen ich als voll Endorser zusammenarbeite sind: Zildjian (seit 1995), Vater (seit 1997) Ludwig (seit 2004) Remo (seit 2006) Beato (seit 2010) . . . . .
