About me: Searching for peace, awareness, love, new discovery and optimal experience through music, art, sex, books, people, movies, dancing, forward motion...whereever the journey leads. Warning: I come from a family of yammerers. Honesty is of primary importance as is openness, tolerance (I work hard on these but sometimes get a bit perturbed at people who don't consider others or who act hurtfully or unthinkingly about those around them)...I like to talk, probably think too much, and am persistently romantic. High and low culture are fascinating to me--from the Louvre to John Waters...there is room for all. The key to all is really love and awareness. Working towards more of both in our lives is how I envision the path to happiness that we all wish to walk. "It ain't why, why, why...it just is." - Van Morrison. In the past year, I have found myself in a place of peace and happiness that is fully embracing the present and I can't tell you how refreshing it is. My music site is http://www.porchchops.com

Who I'd like to meet: I have found that tho' solitude is charming and productive, I have learned that I adore sharing myself with those I care about deeply and I thrive on being an integral part of someone's life. For the first time in my life I don't feel defined by whether or not I'm in a relationship. It's a nice space. I'm a busy guy with lots of friends, hobbies and interests...always busy but really flexible w/ my time. The person I feel I'd love to share my life with would be someone pretty stable but adventurous, open, intellectual, prodding, not content to just accept what others think but to seek to always be expanding and SEARCHING for their own personal take on things; someone who is anxious to share the journey of discovery through investigating what creative people, places and activities have to offer. Not afraid to not know but anxious to know more. Someone strong and giving, positive and tender. Someone not afraid to be a friend, lover, confidant, collaborator. Someone drawn to creative endeavors and thinking. Someone who wants to know themselves and everyone else a bit better. Someone bent on discovering new aspects of life, love and happiness. Jealousy, greed, ego and envy should be low on their priority tote board. Not afraid to relax and do nothing but more comfy with lots of input. I've had a very blessed life thus far, all that is missing is the chance to share life with the right person...My goal now is to work on me...striving to be a more complete, genuine, caring and aware person through love, action, dedication, foresight, meditation, music, and just expanding awareness and optimal experience. So what is all this blabber? yammer...yammer...yammer...Let's rock...more music...more experience...more NOW, more life, baby. I'd like to meet the dude who invented sunglasses...one cool Joe, I gotta think...Or as a beautiful friend of mine says, "Let's just have FUN!" Why waste time...
