Velcro project started in 2001 when Andrea Tumicelli and Davide Piotto started their personal way in music research. Velcro is essentially founded in discovering an original approach in everything that could be considered as experimental. Every work is based on the idea of dismantling/reassemble, the attempt to disarrange something and then to recompose it in a different mode, to have always a different kind of interpretation. During the years the duo has concentrated his energy in mixing music ( from ambient to industrial ) with others forms of art (in particularly visual- art) and in playing free improvisation, that is the beginning to find new solutions. At the moment Velcro continues its research following three different ways, live-set based on totally improvisation, the union of music and video ,and the creation of something more similar to a “ classic song “ ( for the structure but not for the sound ).

Yo Velcroasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now).
