Coffee and Tea, History, Art, Music, Reformed Theology, Rare Antiquarian Books, Pre-modern Philosophy, and 17th to 19th century literature.
Music
I'm pretty eccelctic in this department. I enjoy Jazz, Classical, Big Band, Christian, and Classic Rock. No Hip-Hop please!
Movies
"Office Space" has to be one of my favorite movies. The language is a bit rough, but the characters and one liners are some of the most memorable. I generally prefer movies that make me think and independant film houses are always enjoyeable!
Television
I seldom have time for TV! I suppose 24, and Everybody Loves Raymond are among my favorites.
Books
The Bible, Pensees, Theologia Germanica, The Works of Jonathan Edwards, Spurgeon's Sermons, History of Britain, etc.
Heroes
John Calvin, Martin Luther, Francis Schaeffer, Al Mohler, John Dagg, Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and Blaise Pascal are a few of my favorite people!
About me: I've been a Southern Baptist Pastor for the past 8 years but have recently left that line of work in preparation for the Chaplaincy. As the church has become more centered around programs and paperwork it has become significantly less centered around reaching the surrounding communities and interacting with individuals. The trend has convicted me in many ways and has ultimately been the cause of my departure for chaplaincy. I currently work in admitting and registration at a major hospital. When I finish my masters. I will be eligible for chaplaincy.
I'm still attending seminary for those last 2 degrees I plan to get. I absolutely love my time in classes and the academic atmosphere always keeps me happy! Although starting in ministry has provided trauma's and heartaches, God has shown me more than ever, the presence of His Providential Hand in the events of life.
I enjoy people (especially old ones!) and most of my ministry positions have been tied to visitation and pastoral activities. Being around the elderly has shaped my worldview as well as priorities.
My greatest pleasure is spending time with college buddies, discussing theology/philosophy and crashing at Starbucks for a couple of hours. I love a hustle and bustle life although it sometimes interferes with my laziness.

Who I'd like to meet: I generaly like everybody. If I don't like you, I'm a big enough man to let other people know about it. j/k
Hahaha! For real!!! No, there's still room if you want to come by sometime! :) The kids are small still and don't take up too much space yet, although they can cover a lot of it in a small amount of time! Let us know if you want to stop by! :) Belated Happy New Year!
Hey, just a quick question. Do you do marriages/weddings? I'm coming back home soon permanently and there's going to be somewhat of a surprise international wedding. I'm not sure when yet, but I just wanted to see if my cousin might be available to do the ceremony? What do you think?
