So after several years of recording songs and playing as Vacant Persons I have finally found some musical co conspirators to create something new with. Vacant Persons was always meant to be a project that random musician friends of mine could come and accompany me with making tracks without it being a band. I've recorded some fun songs under the banner and played some shows that I was proud of and some that made me wanna throw my keyboard in the trash. Now after all those years I've formed BOSS MAGIC with guitarist Sean Bivins (of eightfourseven) and producer Aaron Fowler (of Thriftcar) we will be playing our first show as BOSS MAGIC at the Sacramento Electronica Music Festival on Jan 28th, 2010. El Aprendiz presenta este trabajo mudo, ingenuo, y entre un coro silencioso
(un coro completo de personas que son presenta físicamente y energéticamente
pero sónicamente nulo). Aprendo a ser como un aprendiz.
Der Lehrling überreicht diese Arbeit wortlos, naiv, und unter einem schweigsamen
Chor (ein gesammelter Chor von Leuten, der energisch und physisch ist, überreicht
aber schall nichtig). Ich lerne, als ein Lehrling zu sein.
The Apprentice presents this work wordless, naive, and among a silent choir
(a collected choir of people who are energetically and physically present but
sonically null.) I am learning to be as an apprentice.
