The Power of Silly Putty and Lipstick Kisses is a book of wonderfully crafted poetry that opens up the imagination to new ways of thinking. The reader is tossed into imaginary worlds of tiny talking bear societies in honey jars and a microscopic mermaid city. Images such as a gingerbread house inside an eye or diving into primordial soup hitting earth's zygote are the types of visuals that are speckled throughout the book.
