Robert E "VaderPainter" Bean
Bob has been designing costumes and props since 1977 when he donned his first home made Darth Vader costume. Since then he has learned a great deal about fiberglass, painting and mold creating. He is recognized the world over for his incredible talents and is highly sought after for his technique to get a professional appearance in the art of costuming.
He initially became well known for his ability to paint fiberglass and plastic armor using automotive paint equipment and supplies. He spent many months perfecting the process he now uses to get the wonderful results when he paints. Thus was born VaderPainter.com; due to the high demand of other costumers requesting his painting services and custom armor modifications.
However he has also branched out into other movie and historical costumes and props. He takes great pride in producing a visually pleasing product for everyone to enjoy. His costume creations can be seen in commercials and print, locally and nationally, interviews, private performances, independent films, charities and much more. He has even been used as a model for Dark Horse Comic illustrators and other officially licensed LucasFilm artists as well as publications for games.
Here is artwork I modeled for by Joe Corroney.
Hi Robert, This is one of the most emotional pieces I've ever done, it was a hard piece to complete and if it wasn't for your excellent costume reference my idea for the composition wouldn't have turned out so successfully. -Joe Corroney
Here is a poster done by Matt Busch that I modeled for...
Hope all is well with you!
I wanted to give you the heads up that I used you as reference for the new EMPIRE STRIKES BACK poster I did!!! -Matt Busch

Who I'd like to meet:
I'm interested in meeting other people who share my passions such as Star Wars fans and collectors, costumers, actors, directors, producers and the like. I enjoy discussing these same topics or networking for friends.
I think it is wonderful that so many people have asked to friend me but I do prefer to be selective in who I friend, I am not in here to collect as many friends as I can. If you'd like to be friended by me, it is best that you actually have something in common with me and drop me a message to say hello.
Also, if you have nothing in your interests section that meets the above criteria, I will probably not add you back.
Here are some of the wonderful people I have already met...

I thought you might like this one. This is my sister’s video who was awarded the CONduit 2009 "Most Artistic" Judges award for this AMV in their contest. I’m very proud of her and the work she put into this and thought I might at least share this with you. Not sure if you are into AMV but I thought it was great and I’m very proud of her for this accomplishment. If you have a YouTube account, I’m sure she would appreciate a comment or two and rating if you have a few minutes.
I thought that you might enjoy this superhero music expression that I made. Here is one of the most favorite superhero of all: Spider-Man. “Spider-Man My Hero” is spectacular music video made with the most amazing superhero ever! With a special cameo appearance from the Hulk; this sensational high flying, death defying, “larger than life” digital expression represents the most courageous, wall crawling, web sling, fearless and awe inspiring hero we have all come to love over the years, will blow you away. So if you appreciate the “larger than life” hero Spider-Man, and you like the song, “Holding Out for a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler from the “Footloose Soundtrack;” then you will love music video. Strongly recommend you play it in full screen to get the full effects. This was a joint venture with my wife and inspired by my dear sister, AKA “SparowDove.” I hope you watch it in its entirety, because there’s always a surprisingly last clip at the end of the credits, I know that you will love. Don’t’ forget to rate (if you happen to have a YouTube account) it and be sure to leave a comment message and let me know what you think. Feel free to share it others who you think might enjoy it. By all means feel free to put any of my videos on your profile too, just let me know, because I like to see stuff like that, it would also create an additional reason to see your site again.
I thought that you might enjoy this Martial Art music expression. “A Fight to Survive: Weapon Style” is spectacular music video made with stunning martial art moves that will take your breath away! This high flying digital expression represents an emphasis on weapons, specifically three: Eskrima sticks, staff and of course the Sword. This video personifies twenty-three different martial art movies, with one superhero movie as a bonus. So if you appreciate the Martial Arts and you like the song, “Fight to Survive” by Paul Hertzog from the “Bloodsport Soundtrack;” then you will love music video. Strongly suggest you play it in full screen to get the full effects. I dedicated this to my all my brother “casualadventurer,” and inspired by my sister, “SparowDove,” who taught me the tricks and tips of “movie maker,” in windows. I hope you watch it in its entirety, because there’s always a surprisingly last clip at the end of the credits, I know that you will love. I hope I made it worth your while to watch! Don’t’ forget to rate it and be sure to leave a comment message and let me know what you think and feel free to put any of my videos on your profile too, just let me know, because I like to see stuff like that, it would also create an additional reason to see your site again.
Hey, I really like what you have done with your MySpace, it’s well arranged and artistically put together. Naturally, I love the Batman/Spider-Man World motif, along with the Martial Arts of course; but I can appreciate all hero/villains, martial arts and sci-fi motifs. I’m always looking for ways to improve my site and add a wide variety of things to it. I’ve been learning more about MySpace and I’ve been very intentional in my profile everything is thoughtfully placed on my page as I can tell you have too. I know it take a second to load but I try to provide an overall experience. I try to do a little bit of everything, photo, animation gif files, videos, games, blogs graphics etc. I appreciate you adding me to your site, I feel honored. Now that we are friends, I wanted to invite you to read some of my blogs and watch some if not all of the videos (some are funny and some are just great) on my main page and in the video section; leave a comment or two. You might find them some of them insightful. Finally, if you see anything on my site feel free to copy it and use put it on you’re as well including any and all videos, pictures, graphics etc. Please refer my site to everyone else too. Thanks for adding me to your great site, my friend, I certainly appreciate it!
