Too heavy to be punk, too punk to be metal, too melodic to be hardcore, too hardcore to be pop, too good to be local, too bad we still are.
Formed in 1993 by Adam Padilla and Andrew Padilla, Vadoom has flickered alternately from brilliance to near non existence for 15 years.
Originally a two-piece band consisting of drums and rhythm guitar with vocals, the Padillas started off as weeknight rock oddballs at the Hollywood Alley with brief demoralizing stints at Boston's, Party Gardens, the Electric Ballroom and the Mason Jar. These were the years when giving away tickets to a show was the order of the day. :( -Notable also during this time are a handful of shows played for a motorcycle gang in Cave Creek.
Two years later, after a dismal showcase at the original Nita's Hideaway (where now stands the Tempe Marketplace), Vadoom expanded to a three-piece adding Joe McGoldrick on bass.
In 1996, again a two-piece, Vadoom made their first recording with Mark Matson and Don Salter at the Saltmine Studios on the ADAT format. The recording consisted of six tracks and was duplicated on cassette. Only one hundred copies were made.
Keith Gordon joined the group on bass in 1997 and work commenced on Vadoom's second recording. Recorded at Saltmine on a 2" Studer analog recorder, the recording consisted of 9 songs and would not see completion until 1999. Three-hundred and fifty duplicates were made, this time as CD's.

What we got here is a 50 watt Tube amp that is a Clone of 70'e era marshalls. It has a nice dirty sound when you turn the Gain/Vol knob all the way up. If ya want modern gain tho, your gonna need a distortion pedal (i've used a Boss DS-1 and a Ibanez "smash box") to kick it up a notch. Shes in pretty good shape (no tears in the toltex and no electrical issues) and had the power tubes replaced about a year ago with Groove Tubes. This is a good work horse amp that will get you out of that crappy solid state amp you have now and pacify you till you can afford that Marshall you really want. I've recently bought a couple Marshalls, so this has to go.
The cab is the matching 4/12 with celestians. It has a bit of wear but is a SOLID cab that has been NOTHING BUT AWESOME for me.
I FINALLY got my DREAM set up ( READ: Marshall )so these two gotta go.
Hear these items @ myspace.com/adamdontcare. On "Frustration" and "Red Light" this amp was used.
Hey Andrew, how hangs it? Hope the band is still kickin ass, Bro. Hey, My bands Demo CD should be complete in about 3 months. I'll make sure to shoot you a copy, cool?
