About me: Vae Victis is the pro wrestling institution that has risen from the ashes of CWF Devastation. CWF Devastation was the revolutionary promotion, that has frequently been cited as the inspiration for the legendary west coast backyard movement of the late 1990's. Beginning in 1997 CWF aired the weekly wrestling show "Devastation" on public access television stations through out California, and it became an immediate smash among wrestling aficionados. Blending innovative writing and cinematography, with technical ring wizardry, and hardcore bay area violence, CWF redefined and raised the standard of backyard wrestling. CWF Devastation held shows at the CWF battleground in Vallejo, Ca and soon drew a rabid fanbase hungry for the creative brutality that was the CWF. CWF Devastation aired its last episode in 2001 much to the dismay of hardcore wrestling fans across the United States. After 8 long years wrestling fans have to wait no longer, because the Devastation is back! Vae Victis has risen from the ashes of the CWF, to take its rightful place as the kings of underground independent wrestling. Vae Victis was founded in 2008 by two of the CWF architects:Joseph Shippee and Johnathan Fallen; and they have picked up where they left off with Devastation. Vae Victis brings you the brutality and devastation only found in the pro wrestling style that is known through out the world as the West Coast Offense.
