Vagabond Psych was the brainchild of guitarist/songwriter Jim Letourneau. Formed in late 2006 as a gritty hard driving power trio with influences drawn from all eras of hard Rock. Desperate to break from the Alternative music scene and get back to the heart of rock when the term Heavy Metal was coined and bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath,UFO,AC/DC, were blazing new trails and opening the horizons for future rockers to explore. Vagabond Psych played the Hampton Roads Rock scene for 2 years playing 3 shows at the Norva, winner of a Virginia Beach battle of the bands contest and opened for Several National acts such as the Bullet Boys, Platinum Rose, Brand new Sinn and ZO2.
