Burlesque is, by definition, the art of satire and as well as the tease. Burlesque may (or may not) include strip tease. But when it does, the tease is combined with theatricality, costuming, performance art and so many elements that create a glorious, jaw dropping production.
For me, as a queer woman of color and size, that specifically means using my influences to craft an awesome act. Folks who influence me are strong, graceful African-American femmes of all genders like;

About me:
I am a burlesque performer, to put it simply. But putting it simply doesn't sum up the grandeur, grace, class and glitz I put into my act.

oh, my creamy and delicious Vagina! i was just telling someone about our passionate poolside tryst! it was a dream come true, red-hot mama! can't wait to "see" you next year (if not sooner)! meanwhile, here's a small souvenir from our sexy make-out session:
We would like to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for the most amazing show ever! Saturday night was, without a doubt, the best night of our life! We walked into MSR not knowing what to expect, and were absolutely blown away with all the love given to us. "Our couch" was set up in the front of stage for us to sit on & enjoy the show.....and it was the best show we've ever seen! (As you know, we've been to all of them) Our family was there showing support & love for us with every number they did. Tristan & Jada hosted.....who could have done a better job? Lauren took the camera from Spider & took all the pix for the night, giving Spider the night off. Shane, was adorable as always, Noah rocked our faces off with Billy Idol, AJ (Pocketboi) looked just like Spider (sooo cute!!!) Crazy Train & Dream were hauntingly beautiful, Tiff-Nay & Taisha were amazing & gorgeous, Jada put on the sweetest slide show highlighting all of our pix of us kissing, out in the community & our art, Vagina Jenkins did her super sexy burlesque, Shaun Daniels made it rain & looked so sharp. Sicily closed out the show with the most beautiful & amazing vampire piece ever. Each performer gave us a rose during their numbers, and hugs & kisses too. At the end of the show, they all got together with Susan & Patrice & presented us with a check going towards our wedding & honeymoon, and then to top it all off, gave us the couch! (So if you wonder where it went.....it's at our house!!!)
Everyone put so much hard work into this show, and we have never felt so much love. It was truely the most wonderful night.
The two of us met at MSR, got engaged on stage New Year's Eve at Tristan's black & white ball there, so we wanted to have our engagement party there too.
