Hey guys, There isn’t much to say about me. So here goes. The name is Udegbunam Chukwudi Emmanuel. I’m 26 years old. I recently got my license to practice as a medical doctor here in Nigeria though I’m still looking for a place to do my internship/house job. I feel the name Vain The Artiste name speaks for itself. Like most people, I have a certain degree of insecurity and being vain is how I handle it. Lets just say it boosts my self-esteem although on a few occasions it's gotten me into problems ;) Sincerely I’m more into the whole music scene than medical scene. I only studied the damn thing to please my folks but someday hopefully soon I would like to pursue my own dreams of being a singer, songwriter or both. Basically I write my lyrics & create my own melodies but I just can’t play an instrument yet. Hope to learn soon. I’m into R&B and Pop. A great deal of my inspiration comes from the one true diva, Mariah “Butterfly” Carey. It shows in my yet to be demo tracks The tracks on my page are rough demos I recorded while I was still in Med school. Everything was rushed but still sounds good. Hope you guys enjoy it. I'm interested in almost all aspects of the Arts. From novels to runways to the big screen. In my past time, I love surfing the net , singing & songwriting, listening to music, reading novels and magazines, watching movies & TV and of course sleeping. Due to strict upbringing I am not the party type. Guys think I'm anti-social. Well to an extent I am :). I love spending time alone cos it puts me in a creative mood. I hate sudden changes in my daily routine. Guess it's just the Virgo in me :).
