Hi, my name is Val Flint. I'm the owner of the website,

I live in Australia, just south of Newcastle in NSW,
though I was born in Sydney & grew up there. I was
originally a teacher, but am also a trained individual
cousellor, though I have never actually earned an income
in that capacity.
I love reading, especially mystery stories, & used to
enjoy gardening, but recently I haven't had either the
time nor the energy to do a great deal, as I was
stricken with first glandular fever & then shingles. I
do take a keen interest in Newcastle's rugby league team,
the Knights, & I also enjoy watching Grand Slam tennis &
swimming championships (when Australian times permit!).
In my younger years, surfing was one of my favourite
pastimes, spending every Saturday in summer at the beach.
As my husband is now in full-time care in a Nursing Home
& I only have a single pension to pay all the household
bills, late in 2007 I became involved in Online Marketing,
hoping to supplement my income.

Who I'd like to meet: I decided to join My Space, because I thought that

inbox & I was working longer hours than I'd ever done
in my life.
Then, just as I was becoming tired & frustrated by it
all, I was fortunate enough to come across a program
