Power, diversity, and musicianship perfectly describe the live sound that Valhalla has perfected since their inception. Founded in 2006, the band has been bringing high energy music to the Vancouver Island scene. After a line-up change in early 2007, Valhalla is now composed of five stellar musicians and a charismatic singer. The powerful twin guitar attack of Matt Aasen and Mark Tardif is perfectly complemented by the ecclectic keyboard tones of Liam Gibson. The concrete rhythm section of drummer Spencer Bowman and bassist Dekar Matheson creates the thundering pulse that holds the band together. From the distorted attack of "Before We Kneel" to the anthemic choruses of "White Crow", the music grips you from the first note. Valhalla has won the 2007 Got Pop? Productions Battle of the Bands and opened for high profile bands like State of Shock, Econoline Crush and illScarlett.
