Valhalla was created by Bassist J J Skull and Guitarist Andre Laneir. "We wanted to form a band that mirrored our musical heroes," says Andre. Heavily influenced by hard rock/metal greats Iron Maiden, Dio, Manowar, and Kiss, Skull and Laneir embarked on a journey to find two members that shared their passion and vision. They found those members in Brain Shadows-(lead guitarist) and Erik "The Redd"-(drums). The four together have forged a musical brotherhood that legendary groups are made of. "Adding Shadows and Redd to the band has taken us to another level musically," says Skull. And Thus the Journey Begins...(3/2006)
