OK, so I have been writing lots of songs for awhile, most of them are unfinished. I recently got a recorder and decided to get my ass in gear and start getting my stuff together. It ain't perfect but it's a start.
I am kinda usin my songs as a way to exorcise some demons but to paraphrase Iggy Pop 'If I get rid of my Demons. maybe my Angels will leave as well'.
Or as Rob says on High Fidelity 'Was I miserable because I listened to music, or did I listen to Music because i Was Miserable?'!!!!
I guess I just wanna write good pop songs in the classic (not Modern) sense, with enough honesty and heartbreak to make it worthwhile!
