Various instruments; modern/ancient ones such as Finland's national instrument Kantele. Cello or things to pound like Shaman drum.. & rivers.
Will's glimmer in darkness. Echoes from starfields.
Tatu Metso & Atrain Kataja started exploring in 2's with quite contrasting style, acoustically, comparing their progenies that time.
While often endlessly waiting for other guys to show up, VV formed shape. Due their Metal background, Metso & Kataja were known by their aliases Valkyr Käreitär & BeforEnd back then (from which Valkyrend).
1st gig at mental hospital. Such of Kaivanto in Kangasala Finland.
In starting line-up partook also Mika Pusa (Vanguard, URN) on 2. guitar & Klaus Wirzenius on bass. Demo '03 ja "Kaihomieli Valpas" (2005) got wonderful reviews and welcome from people and also critics.
Additionally 2005 to a metal compilation "Tamperkele" of Pirkanmaa county bands:

2007 a Christmas record "Tonttu" to splendid reviews, also getting played on 2 national radio stations in December.
