Too many to name. Bone Thugs 'n' Harmony, 2pac, D12, Rakim, Dr Dre, Eminem (in a big way), 3 6 mafia, obie, Biggie, and basically everything we used to listen to as we were growing up and made us want to actually live for something and get out of this fucking dump.

I've been writing and recording for a few years now, starting when I was 14 covering tracks by acts like Bone Thugs 'n' Harmony, Eminem, D12 and anything els I fancied trying. After a short amount of time I started writing my own material, and wrote our first track Shitstorm with Carl Ruddock, who was a big part of the group in the early stages. We worked together with our producer Ade Carter and had soon built up a collection of over 50 songs, which we narrowed down to 20 for our first EP Shitstorm. We spent the first 3 or 4 years just writing and recording new tracks, because fair play, at the beginning we sounded shit! After a while, we started breaking out into various gigs, giving me the craving for live performance that Ive never been able to shake. When things really started going wrong for me it gave me a big incentive to put all my time and energy into the group, and gave me a lot of inspiration to get all of the shit in my head onto paper so hopefully it can show others going through the same sort of shit that there is a way out if you got the time, energy and dediation. I know it sounds cheesy as fuck but I'm working towards something, and Im either gonna get there or die trying.
We had a lot of help in making our last album from a very good friend of mine Dai Maunder, who I'll always owe something to for the way he helped me out personally and professionally. Also, Noel Watkins (Datasidedown on friends list) of Blossom Studios really did an amazing job with us and also helped us out immeasurabley.
These days, we're still grinding on but with funds being tight the third album has somewhat stalled a little, tho I promise you all it's on the way. Me and Ade have gone our seperate ways musically, but I wish him all the best and still respect him as a good friend.
Now Ive got new beats, new experience and a new partner in crime, Brad Carter, and this time, we're coming to fuck you up.
Peace,
Kev
