ValleyWaves Sound Solutions is run by musician/composer Justin Martin and produces original music for film, television & multimedia.
Justin was born in Malta, a small island enjoying the wonderful central Mediterranean climate. From a very early age he showed a keen interest in music, which then turned literally into a passion.
He started playing Classical Alto Saxophone and throughout his school years he studied both classical and popular music while also playing in a variety of bands. He then pursued his studies in music harmony, counterpoint, orchestration and history and obtained a licentiate diploma from the London College of Music.
Justin also plays Bass guitar in a rock band called AccessTo. The band, whose style varies from classical to contemporary rock, has performed at various venues around the island playing both original songs and cover versions.
Wanting to write music for film and television, Justin enrolled in the Music For The Media course and studied for a diploma in media composition mentored by award-winning media composers Guy Michelmore and Richard Attree. Participants in this course learn about the craft of film and television scoring while they compose, record and produce their music in their own project studios. The music composed for the course varies from music for corporates to documentaries and drama.
Although still making life performances, both as a saxophone soloist and playing with his rock band, Justin is now totally committed to writing music for film, television and multimedia working from his studio which is situated in one of Malta’s most beautiful valleys.
