In less than two short years, VALLON has become one of Massachusetts’ most potent underground metal acts. This is no small feat when you consider that Killswitch Engage, Unearth, Bury Your Dead, and so many of today’s premier hardcore and metal outfits reside here. VALLON recently emerged from Zing Studios in Westfield, MA with the explosive follow up to their 2007 debut “For Safe Keeping.” The band’s latest EP “Vices,” was released for free in November of 2008 through PureVolume and has made them one of the sites top downloaded bands (unsigned). “Vices” showcases the band’s growth technically, yet still delivers punishing breakdowns and the savage vocals fans have come to expect.
VALLON has toured with a tireless DIY mentality. With the help of their loyal fan base, VALLON was selected to play Music As A Weapon (2009), Taste of Chaos (2008), and Warped Tour (2007). Endless regional and East Coast touring have garnered respect from both fans and peers alike.
