After the dissolution of previous band All of Fifteen in 2006, Colten and Jim took some time away from music. Colten wrote fragments of some slower, more spacious songs and put them to CD. In the summer of 2007 they got together with friend Nate Joyner and made some sense of it all and booked a show for December. It was fun, so they decided to do it again. And again. And again.
There were periods of warmth in the winter, and birds even chirped sometimes. The ice stayed on the trees some days, and then melted. The days were far too short. Outside cafes pulled the tables inside and the bustling downtown area was quiet. It gets cold enough that a place that is exceptionally busy at some times during the year is now quiet and desolate. People huddle inside, and pushing out into the cold at the end of the night they huddle in small pockets. This is songs.
Sadly, I definitely won't be there tonight. I'm working a car race at the speedway in Richmond and I've been told to expect to be tied up there until at least midnight :( Sorry!
Hey guys! Looking forward to the show at Outback tomorrow! If, by some sad possibility you don't see me there, that means I'm still at work. I'm going to work an event in Richmond tomorrow and I'm not sure yet what time I'll be done there, but hopefully I'll get to the venue, up front and ready to rock as usual :)
Awesome job at Saxx this weekend, lads! :) Do you know what date you're playing Outback next? It wasn't listed on their website, but I'll plan on being there, of course!
Hey guys! Looking forward to seeing you rock at Outback this Tuesday! Fingers crossed that I'll get to catch most of the set...will be getting off work from JPJ Arena at 9:30, then heading straight over.
Great job at the Satellite last night! Thanks for approving my friend request! Now it will be easier for me to keep track of where you're playing next, so I can then make plans to go and show my support. Because I think you rock :)
