Children's music for the morally demented from the creator of the VAMPIRE RODENTS .
I have been working with museums, collectors & publishers through my own vintage photography business for the last 7 years, so I’ve been far to busy to return to composition. I expect I’ll write again, but probably only dense complex Sample Based Composition works like ’Bosch Erotique’ , ’Demon Est Deus Inversus’ & ’Raga Rodentia’. But who knows? Anything is possible.
I actually was working on two SBC pieces before and during the VR years : a Cello Sonata & a short Symphony. Both were gradually cannibalized to supply VR songs with samples & riffs. When I do return to composition, I’ll work exclusively on SBC pieces like Awaken & DEDI - they are my favorite pieces! Noises in the Wall was supposed to be the last VR album - an instrumental collection of unreleased songs, but the labels that would have carried it died out during 1996-8, so it was shelved. I lost interest in fighting the music industry by then, so I didn’t pursue it.
I love ragtime - Scott Joplin & would love to work on that in my old age. I generally only listen to music made from 1920-45 (I’m a huge Big Band fan - as you can tell from Ether Bunny, especially cartoon kings Raymond Scott & Carl Stalling). Hopes this explains my madness somewhat.
Hopefully, I’ll find a way to reissue my music within the next two years, as well as release the 3 VR & 2nd EB CDs of material sitting in a box for the last decade.

NEWS: these unreleased tracks will still show their
historical lineage. Please don’t mistake these tracks to be an updated VR
sound - only the missing jigsaw pieces from pre-existing compilations.
They are inextricably linked with the Clockseed & Gravity’s Rim tracks (they were originally set aside for the never-realized Pillow project). Someday, I’ll figure out the original sequence of composition (the so-called opus record) & that should explain the difference/similarities of everything. It is a bit of a blur to me in my memory.
These tracks were composed very rapidly in the mid-90’s since I was holed up in safehouses half of the time with NOTHING to do but write 18 hrs a day - loneliness & seclusion can be very productive!
I am going to inquire into the possibility & expense of new recordings from
the original digital archive. That will greatly improve the clarity of the
music. Wish me well! Thanks for your support.

Hi VR! Thanks for the add. I came by to say that I've enjoyed your sounds for a while now....and not to advertise any products or events. Yeah, I'm just a weirdo like that. Anyway, I'm glad your here. It's nice to be able to check up on what's new in the world of the Vampire Rodents and listen to the sound of tiny blood thirsty mammals. Take care.
