A talented songwriter and guitarist from Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture is the first half of VAMPS. Before VAMPS, he had worked with previous artists such as Tetsu (L'Arc~en~Ciel) for his solo projects; Hide and the Spread Beavers; and with Anna Tsuchiya for Spin Aqua. He already had collaborated with Hyde (L'Arc~en~Ciel) for his solo project - Hydeist. Soon after, he created the band Sonic Storage with I.N.A. of "Dope Headz". In 2007 he joined Oblivion Dust in which he plays the guitar. And now he and Hyde are back together and are making the history for VAMPS.

Pronounced as Hai-do in Japanese and Hide in English is the vocalist for the phenomenal band L'Arc~en~Ciel. He used to play the guitar for the band Jerusalem's Rod. Every time that L'Arc~en~Ciel would have a break, Hyde focuses on his solo works. In his 3rd album "Faith" he collaborated with K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust), who would also be the guitarist for the tour. And now he and K.A.Z are back together and are making the history for VAMPS.
