  • Bio

.. ..VAMPYROS BONOBOS formed in the summer of 2007 with the goal of bringing a hot new groove sound to Tucson. Eric and Tyler had recently moved from the Pacific Northwest - an epicenter of jazz/funk/groove bands. With the addition of the funky-in-the-pocket drumming of Darryl Roles, a seasoned professional (17th St. Band, Army Jazz Band) and the rhythmic intuition of Stefano Young, Vampyros Bonobos brings a danceable and tight groove that's quickly gaining exposure and respect in the local scene. ..

Hey Vampyros Bonobos, I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. How beautiful is the snowshine in your eyes, so directly current from the static in your mind. I keep searching for you between the cushions. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. Blinking reveals the true visage of beauty hidden within your eyes. As the bliss slowly rises in my incandescent eluxulator, your mere presence has a euphoric effect upon me. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts.
