Movies
This is the kind of section that could just take up too much time and effort, so I'll stick to the big three. These three stories are the best in movie-dom. So here goes....
All of the Star Wars Movies.
All of the Lord of The Rings Movies.
All of the Die Hard Movies.
There you go...that pretty much accounts for all that is good and holy about films. Any other movies are just trying to be one of these three in some way.
Television
I hate television, but as with all other evil, wicked things, I have of course been taken in a time or two. Here are the shows I think do not suck.
My Name is Earl/
The Simpsons/
Northern Exposure/
Miracles (bring it back suckas!)/
The 4400/
The X-files (the early seasons..once mulder left, who cared anymore?)/
The Rockford Files/
Any time The Chicago Cubs are on TV.
Books
My home library consists mainly of Irish History and Theology.. here are a few samples:
The Lord of The Rings trilogy-Tolkien/
Mere Christianity- C.S. Lewis/
Angelas Ashes- Frank McCourt/
Recovering The Past (Celtic and Roman Mission) - John Finney/
How the Irish Saved Civilization- Thomas Cahill/
The Bible- God (through a bunch of other dudes)/
Heroes
Does everyone say Jesus? I was just wondering...but seriously, I guess Jesus would be number one. Come on, the guy was awesome. After that it would have to be as follows: Johnny Cash, Bono, The Pope, Sir Arthur Guinness, Saint Patrick, and Davis.
About me: I am pretty unsure of exactly what or who I am supposed to be at this time. I used to know...now I don't. So I guess these are the facts as we now have them. I have a great wife and a wonderful son. I once played in the greatest band in the history of the universe. I've been alot of things in my life...husband, father, musician, magazine writer, youth leader, conspiracy webzine editor, maytag repairman, insurance salesman, pastor of a missional community (whatever the hell that means), and a print shop worker just to name a few. I've had the pleasure of traveling around the world more than most people, and I gotta tell you, it's a wonderful, horrible, beautiful, ugly place out there. I love Guinness, Fine Cigars, Whiskey, and Jesus. I suppose that should do it.
Glad someones got my back. Evidently, I make 8th grade girls very nervous & angry because I'm bald. lol. Lauren had to be my body guard in the restroom at Golden Corral. lol
Yeah, Justin and I married in August in 2005. My family is good. Beverly is married has a a 9 month old boy and lives in Indianapolis. Jamie has a 7 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. She and the kids live with my mom and dad (still in the same house in Hobart). Justin said he use to spend a lot of time with you at Lee and he wanted to see how you were. He hopes to catch up a little.
