About me: Why do 15-passenger vans rollover? Add to My Profile | More Videos
Van Angels is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the dangers of 15-passenger vans. Over 1,000 people have been killed in 15-passenger vans, most of those in the Ford E-350 (aka. Ford Econoline XLT), which is now rated as the most dangerous vehicle ever created. These are the most popular vehicle to transport teenagers because they don't require a commercial drivers license.
Who I'd like to meet: WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET:I want to meet anybody who is thinking about getting in a 15-passenger van.
PLEASE, watch the videos on this website! Then, the next time you are asked to ride in a 15-passenger van, politely refuse to get in. When they ask you why, simply state, "These vans rollover at speeds as low as 35 miles per hour. This van has many design flaws. According to the NTSB, this van has a 300% increase in rollovers with10 or more passengers. Over 1,000 people have died in these vans. In each case, the left rear tire de-treads and the driver will NOT be able to control the van. The exposed rim will dig into the pavement causing the van to launch and rollover multiple times. Even if I'm wearing a seatbelt, I can be thrown from the van or my head will be crushed when the van's roof collapses onto the top of the bench seats.
"I'M NOT GETTING IN. PLEASE PROVIDE ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION."
