Vanara were created by Rosenzo (bass) and Giuseppe (keyboards) during the winter 2007 as a Deep Purple cover band.
Later, Agostino (voice), Samuele (guitar) and Simone (drums) joined them: the band was complete!
We have been playing around in Abruzzo, successfully, for a year and in february 2008 we have recorded our live demo with our favorite songs.
Unfortunately, short later Rosenzo had to leave the band, because of serious family matters, and so did Giuseppe, more or less at the same time.
Nonetheless, Agostino, Samuele and Simone didn't want to give up to this project and to their mutual and musical affinity and decided to go on, writing new songs.
8 months later, in January 2009, the new Vanara were working on a new record and in February, the demo “Light shades” is ready.
Meanwhile, Emauele, the new bass player, join Vanara.
The band, with him, record the song “Dismay”, which complete the demo of “Light shades”.

I Vanara nascono nell'inverno del 2007 per idea di Rosenzo (basso) e Giuseppe (Tastiere) che volevano dare vita ad una cover band dei Deep Purple.
A loro si sono uniti, in ordine di tempo, Agostino (voce), Samuele (chitarra) e Simone (batteria): la band era al completo. Per un anno abbiamo suonato nei locali abruzzesi risquotendo un buon successo e nel febbraio 2008 abbiamo registrato un live demo contenente i nostri pezzi preferiti.
Purtroppo poco dopo Rosenzo, per importanti motivi familiari, ha dovuto lasciare il gruppo e Giuseppe ha fatto la stessa scelta quasi contemporaneamente.
Samuele, Simone e Agostino decidono di non mollare aiutati dal feeling che era nato tra loro e decidono di intraprendere un nuovo progetto con pezzi inediti.
Dopo 8 mesi di prove, nel gennaio 2009, i nuovi Vanara entrano in studio per incidere.
Dopo circa un mese, la nuova demo dal titolo "Light Shades", è pronta.
Il tempo di incidere che entra a far parte del gruppo Emanuele, il nuovo bassista.
Con lui registrano il pezzo "Dismay" che chiude la demo "Light Shades". Ora che conoscete qualcosa in più di noi, vi invitiamo ad ascoltare i nostri pezzi e a darci dei feedback!
