    I Van Cleef Continental nascono intorno alla meta' degli anni 2000, con il demo "8 shots 8 failures". L'attivita' del gruppo procede sino all'uscita di "Red Sisters" per l'etichetta americana Steam Machine Records nel marzo 2008. Sempre nel corso del 2008, la band partecipa al tributo internazionale "Hidden Desert", dedicato alla musica dei Thin White Rope. "Red Sisters" e' uscito, accolto entusiasticamente dalla stampa specializzata, anche in Italia a ottobre 2009 per CASAMOLLOY/AUDIOGLOBE. File Under: rock'n'roll, alternative, noir. _______________________________________________________________________ Singer/bass player Andrea Van Cleef formed Van Cleef Continental in the summer of 2004, releasing the self-produced "8 shots 8 failures", a debut album influenced by 60's garage sounds and 80's paisley underground. In 2007 Van Cleef Continental, now a real band, release the "Junior Bonner" EP, soon followed by the recording of "Red Sisters", 11 songs mastered by Ray Staff at his Air Studios in London (where he had previously worked on Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and David Bowie remaster catalogues). "Red Sisters", a dense, powerful work featuring a newly focused sonic attack and harsh and intense vocals is then published in 2008 by the indie label Steam Machine Records, based in Douglas, Arizona.
