Can't believe we missed you, We tried to go snorkeling in la Jolla but it was really foggy and the water was choppy so we went to eat instead!

    Hey stranger!

... Don'tcha hate it when people say "hey stranger" when they've been strangers themselves? Yeah, me too. ;-) What's the dizzle? Back safe n' sound from the trip east, I hope! Let's AIM soon.

Matt, I really think you need to join more San Diego related MySpace groups. You're not a member of nearly enough of them.
    ;-)

What's the snaps, my west coast friend? I had a dream with you in it last night. We were all rocking this weird party and much hilarity ensued.

(Yes, that's the condensed version!) What have you been up to?

Word up yo. Long time no see. Still no see as is myspace. Germany is bleak, but then this the land of the germanic hoards. They leave their mark.

When you said you put a magnet in my book, I had no idea how unbelievably awesome that magnet was going to be.

The Bad Plus played in Portsmouth a couple months ago. Sean Baker went with Anna and pretty much all my friends, but I think I had a gig that night, which might be a lame excuse. I heard it was great. I certainly enjoy their albums. Ah yes, the old Space Hog/Mike Patten/Jethro Tull days...

    Happy Bicycle Day!

    ..

Albert Hofmann was born in Baden, Switzerland in 1906. He graduated from the University of Zurich with a degree in chemistry in 1929 and went to work for Sandoz Pharmaceutical in Basel, Switzerland. Here he worked his way through the lysergic acid derivatives, eventually synthesizing d-LSD-25 for the first time in 1938. After minimal testing, d-LSD-25 was set aside as he continued with other derivatives. Four years later, on April 16, 1943, he re-synthesized d-LSD-25 because he felt he might have missed something the first time around. That day, he became the first human to experience the effects of d-LSD-25 after accidentally ingesting a minute amount. Three days later, on April 19, 1943, he decided to verify his results by intentionally ingesting 250 micrograms of d-LSD-25. This day has become known as "Bicycle Day" as Hofmann experienced an incredible bicycle ride on his way home from the lab.
