Vand Vand : ne cherchez pas à comprendre le sens de leur nom mais regardez plutôt ce qui se cache derrière. Prenez R-Ash, vingt trois ans et plus de la moitié de sa vie passée derrière les platines. Il a d'abord eu à faire au scratch, les deux pieds dans le hip hop mais la tête tournée vers la musique éléctronique. Multiple champion DMC, il a derrière lui douze ans d'expérience et bien plus d'années passées avec son acolyte Silent : une main sur les platines et l'autre sur un synthé, méfiez vous de l'eau qui dort car celui-ci allie notes acérées et drum kit percutants. Il a lui aussi débuté avec le scratch, se tournant rapidement vers ses propres productions : cette année marque la sortie de son maxi «vandito». Le fruit de leur collaboration se nomme «Oh my vand», leur mixtape, avec laquelle ils comptent bien arroser l'année 2009. Leur maxi «screamy palmer» est la prochaine étape de leur long parcours mais comme toujours c'est à coup de dj sets stratégiques qu'ils risquent de souvent se rappeler à votre bon souvenir. Ce n'est qu'une question de temps avant que le bruit, le vrai, reprenne enfin ses droits.
