Here's a brief clip of me when I was 8 months pregnant working my dog on some double-suspect apprehension work. It's nice to know that even during the beginning phases of training like this, I can have control over a high-drive dog when I'm fat and off-balance! Hooray for remote collars!

About me: I am a dog trainer in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area with Sit Means Sit as well as a portrait artist (check out K9 by Design and have a peek at the gallery) and the owner/formulator of Vanessa's Dog Shampoo. My wonderful husband Charles and I just had our first baby, Parker, at the beginning of March. We have two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Labrador Retriever.
Who I'd like to meet: Rin Tin Tin, the original Lassie (who was, in fact, a Laddie), Scooby Doo, and Snoopy. Seriously? Bodhidharma, Jackie Chan, Queen Elizabeth I, and whoever started the Sibley Heart Center at Children's Hospital.
