cooking/dining/tasty beverages, crafting– (I knit on both needles and looms, crochet, mosaic arts, some sewing, clay stuff... pretty much anything requiring minimal drawing skill), fashion, digital art and photography, outdoor stuff (mountain biking, hiking, water-related activites), SA independent film, Turbo Jam (I'm addicted and refuse rehab)...
I always like to do new things; you name it and I can probably dig it.
I'll listen to just about anything, but things that have been in my CD/MP3 player lately include: Goldfrapp, Ladytron, Eagles, Ben Folds, Pink Floyd, Ratatat, Oasis, Of Montreal, Spoon, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, Death From Above 1979, Jamie Cullum, Annie, Junkie XL, Autolux, Death Cab For Cutie, VHS or Beta, Editors, Scissor Sisters, Depeche Mode, She Wants Revenge, The Bravery, Camouflage, Moving Units, Imogen Heap, and the ever soothing, feel good Stevie Wonder; I could go on and on, but I don't want one of those columns on the left side of the page that's just as long as the comments section... See my friends for more or just ask :~)
Movies
If it has Kevin Spacey, I probably like it-- L.A. Confidential, The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Consenting Adults, Seven, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil... HE JUST ROCKS; Office Space, The Shawshank Redemption, Contact, Japanese horror flix... and the list goes on...
Television
Battlestar Galactica at the Drafthouse... yeah, it's hardcore like that :~) If I remember to change the channel, I like to watch the Daily Show and The Colbert Report, but when I'm home, I pretty much let the Food Network run in the background while I surf these websites, among others, to calculate designs and knit: Knitty MagKnits Knitting Pattern Central WEBS Discount Yarn Sale Smiley's Yarns
Books
I think I had something here once... but the idea of sitting still to read is just scary for me right now; I do it 8 hours a day at work. Gotta save the eyes, you know :~P
I read cookbooks and crafting stuff; fitness mags and the occasional short story. I like reading blogs because I like learning about people— an interesting lot, we are.
Heroes
Known: My grandmother, my mother... Unknown: Martha Stewart and Reese Witherspoon... Imaginary: Odo and Starbuck (nerd alert :~P)

The Week of the Loner
March 3–10
She enjoys her own company and is very dedicated to work and family. She feels best with a small circle of friends whom she knows well. She enjoys being intimate with her sweetheart. She’s attracted to the quiet passionate types. A way to her heart is to be sensual and romantic.
Jacqueline of all trades... master of none ;~)
I'm a shape-shifter, so I can't pin myself down to any concrete descriptions. I am simplistically complicated; I am overtly covert; I am a mass of complimentary contradictions.
Well I have to give you extra points for unsettlingly keen observational skills at speed in the dark. How in the hell you recognized me beats me, but yes that was me, and I think I saw you waiting to cross the street but I was busy looking for potholes, so I wasn't really looking. Wow! I can't believe that! Guess I'll be seeing you Sunday?
You are soooo right! I would love to knit a blanket. What are you doing this Sunday? And the food smells are already getting to me, all I can take is mac and cheese at this point. If Sunday doesn't work maybe next week?
