Few people know the whole story behind Van Taylor. Mr. Taylor is a man with a rich history:
Music Composer, Music Arranger, Producer, Keyboardist, Artist Developer, Marketing Consultant, TV Commercial Producer, and over 30 years experience in the entertainment field. His love for entertaining our Troops overseas has been a labor of love for over 30 years
Van is owner of Van Taylor Production and Publishing Company He also owns indy label TM International. Through this, he has brought many new artists into flourishing careers, and created professional work for hundreds of local musicians and artists.
A constant source of generosity, he has raised money for AIDS research, Childrens Hospital, United Negro College Fund, and many others through his Taylor Made Jazz project and personal endeavors.
Not lacking for talent himself, he has been a professional keyboardist and musician since childhood. He opened shows for Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Kool and the Gang, among many others. He travels worldwide performing for our troops overseas though AFE Armed Forces Entertainment , and at major hotels, resorts, casinos and at US Embassies for world leaders.
As and event coordinator he has sponsored and co-sponsored the Queen City Jazz festival for the Colored Musicians Club of Buffalo New York a Historic Jazz Organization which holds it's annual festival the last saturday of July. This year that will be July 26, 2008 www.coloredmusiciansclub.org
Van also works with Mr. Bill Bradberry Niagara Falls city administrator and the Niagara falls tourist advisory board on Music festival for Niagara Falls New York.

Dear Friends, Well, it's been six months since my abdominal surgery, and finally the music is starting to flow again. I've written two new songs "Bridge Of Shadows" and something a little different for me called "Looking Glass Man"...my first song using a Strat. I've never owned a Stratocaster before, was always a Les Paul guy (still am). But my wife promised me a new Strat if I just acted brave; and survived the surgery of course. I guessed the Fender would influence me in some "twangy way", but I never imagined it would be a Johhny Cash way, (not that I'm complaining, always kind of liked him). So if you get the chance, please stop by and give them a listen. All my very best to you, and thanks for being friends through some really tough times for me, Your friend, David

Hello My Dear Friends!
Sorry I haven't been in touch for so long, but over the winter I had major abdominal surgery, and though recovery has been slow, it has been steady and I'm starting finally to feel like my old self again. For surviving my wife bought me a new Stratocaster that I hope to include on some new songs in the very near future. I hope all is well with you and that 2009 is bringing BIG things your way. I just wanted to stop by and say I'm still alive ....literally!
