I'm a photographer based in Nottingham, UK.

Oh wait, you want more than that? OK then. I've been a photographer since about 2005. I have no formal qualifications and I'm almost completely self taught. I'm in the pleasant position of having photography as a hobby rather than a profession, although that's not to say I can't deliver professional results. My main area of interest is portrait photography, both in studio and on location, and mostly covering alternative/fashion/glamour/burlesque styles. I'm one of the principal photographers for Apocalypse Girls, as well as having undertaken a wide range of portfolio work. I have a small studio, located in Nottingham City Centre near Trent University, which I share with the lovely and fantastically talented Miss Rain (on my top friends list).

Second to this I'm an event photographer, working mainly for tilllate.com, through whom I do a lot of club and gig photography. My other hobby is DJing, so it's not unusual for me to be behind the decks, camera in hand. Aside from all that, I enjoy shooting landscapes (although being city bound this isn't always easy), and the odd bit of architecture and abstract work when the mood takes me. Plus I do weddings, aimed squarely at the couples who can't afford a 'professional', but want something better than Uncle Charlie and his phone camera.

A brief word on kit: I use Canon camera gear almost exclusively, and Elinchrom lighting in the studio. I use Adobe Lightroom to for processing, and tend to avoid Photoshop, preferring to only edit if I really need to.

I've been lucky enough to work with some fantastic models in the past. If you're a model and have ideas you want to work with, please get in touch. I have very reasonable (which is a far nicer word than 'cheap') rates, but I will work TFCD on ideas that interest me and benefit my portfolio. For other commissions I'm a gun for hire, please just ask :)
