VARIOUS Is a monthly soundsystem dance in Portland, Oregon.
It all began on 12/03/06 with Monkeytek, Ryan Organ, Dial M and Jon A.D. with the idea of getting together with friends and play music we like.
Since it's inception, Various has featured the talents of E3, Struggle, Deejay Collage, Coda, XI, Daega Sound, Moldy, Starkey, The Mecca, The Bassist, DeVille, D Poetica, Searchl1te, Dopelabs, Bombaman, DZ, UOME, Clever, 6Blocc, Doormouse, Saucey Possum, Lincolup, Filistine, Taliesin, Dj Magneto, Alter Echo, SPL, Bryan Zentz, Samizdat, Kyle T. & Noah D. and has hosted Kode9 & Spaceape and The Bug & Warrior Queen.
Various is linked to Lo Dubs Records and Aleutian Audio and serves as testing ground for upfront tunes slated for these homegrown labels. Various is the place in Portland to hear the freshest dubplates on the best sound system.
Primarily about Dubstep laced with heavy dose of Dub, Dancehall and Jungle, the Various vibe is all about fun and BASS!!!
To ensure proper sound quality and bass pressure, we always use the mighty H.A.S. Systems.

December 5th 2009 marks 3 years of Various Bass in Portland and we will bring it heavy!
