I'm Vasco. The name came from a combination of the vascular system and a waste removal company in Minneapolis Minnesota that has these giant orange dumpsters all over town with VASKO written on the side. You can check the couple of songs I have on this page, or you can go to my super plain undeveloped website www.vascomc.com where you can dowload some other songs.
I made hip-hop in Minneapolis-St Paul for a handful of years from 2001-2008, working solo with my cousin Down Pat who made my beats and got me my first couple of shows. I worked later as part of the Brainstem/MNeapolis Junction crew (Enemy Entropist, Cadaver, Optix, Ed Text, Scheff, Asei MT, Silent Saboteurs).
I did a bunch of shows, some great, many not, some packed, many poorly attended. I made some good songs, had a good time, and met and worked with a lot of talented underground cats, namely my crew (Brainstem!) as wel l as the Fill in The Breaks crew and TQD and Temper 1, Mic Lord and the ghastoff's crowd, and so on and so forth.
I never released any album, and my recordings are pretty rough. But hopefully some of you will see that there's a lot of potential at the very least.
I currently reside in Vung Tau, Vietnam, where I teach English and read many leather bound books.
Whether you like it or not, I will be back on a stage near you doing my songs one of these days, and god willing will drop some kind of mega opus debut album. keep holding your breath.

Going home June 5th to take the fish out of the freezer. Hopefully the summer will bring a bountiful catch to fill the freezer once more. There's always an extra pole and plate at my house.
