About VAUGHAN KING

Biography

After a period of hibernation but immense creativity, Vaughan King has been locked away writing songs in preparation for his sophomore effort. Initially in a basement flat until recently, he has re-located to a ground floor apartment. The new batch of songs follow a nocturnal pattern with each song generally written between the early hours of the morning. He draws influences from the Starn twins to David Lynch to Nick Cave and Tom Waits.

A planned limited edition EP is due along with an animated video.

His first release was the critically-acclaimed mini-album 'The Triumphant' scoring 4/5 in Kerrang, whilst Rock Sound hailed it as one of 2008's best kept secrets.

He is also a co-conspirator in hard-art rock band LEFT (www.myspace.com/leftbanduk).
