Who I'd like to meet:

I am here to meet Asa-Folk from all walks of life. I respect any religious expression as valid for any individual. Yet for any personal relationship in MY life, it is imperative that the Other have at least a working knowledge of what Asatru is all about, or of no religious background with a strong Germanic heritage and a curiosity about the Old Ways of the Ancient Northern European Tradition. If you are not Asatru, does that negate any educated discourse between us? I would say most certainly not. Jut be aware, that I am very adamant about what I have come to believe to be THE MOST amazing way of life; that is, the Irminen Gesellschaft (http://www.irminenschaft.net/index.htm). Just as you have every right to believe what you choose to believe, or if you choose to believe anything at all, I have just as much a right to believe that my ancestors gave me the heart of a Spiritual Warrior. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution states in the Bill of Rights: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." I firmly stand on this, and will defend it to my death if necessary.
