Bio:

V Before U presents our first album ”The Roaring Silence” winter 2009/2010

Our first goal was to create an album which we didn’t already have in our record collection, and we’ve accomplished this. Our second goal was to create an album which would make the listeners want to turn up the volume on their stereos and perhaps an urge to dive into the classics.

A basic idea:

During the 1970s, rock developed into at least 4 different directions – punk, metal, progressive rock and disco. Our record collections are indeed a product of this era. Most of the records contain, what some of us like to call heavy rock, whatever that is… V Before U has naively chosen to continue this development. Our goal is to restart heavy rock and help give our fans the inspiration to listen to some of our heroes. There is so much good music out there which is not played on the radio anymore – if ever played at all.

V Before U has created it’s own lyrical universe – Velo City – where we want to give a description on the development on different characters before, during and after an electric tsunami. We want to involve our fans, one way or another, in our writing around the different characters. There are many possibilities such as blogs, diaries and games. We can also implement other forms of art such as animation, painting, graphics and so on. In the long run we would like to create a virtual universe where the characters live their own lives and evolve through interaction with each other. The development of this side of Velo City will happen through collaboration with our fans, sponsors and our creditors.

V Before U wishes to be a door opener for new and old artists who want to create good art based on our music. We believe that we by creating an artistic cooperation between different arts will open new doors for the audience and that it will help them to see us and other artists work in a new way.
