Born to a musical family in Puerto Rico, VButterfly, Vanessa Picart, moved to South Florida at the age of 13 with the island drums and trumpets pulsing through her veins. The legendery dance institutions of New York and South Beach were the inspiration that seasoned her already spicy palate and led to the transformation of Vanessa to VButterfly, DJ/Artist! Her training decks at global internet radio The Womb, led to spinning at South Florida clubs, then vocals and production, and ultimately, performing her own tracks.
With her dedication and determination, VButterfly has been able to overcome many obstacles to have her music heard throughout the underground world. Her fans know she pushes harder and further every time, and as an artist she strives to make the party a fun, memorable night for her audience. This Butterfly is forever expanding her colors and is now working on some new sounds with international producers. Nacida en San Juan, Puerto Rico. A la edad de 13 años deja su tierra natal para localizarse en el Sur de la Florida
donde sigue sus estudios y vive la tipica vida de una adolescente americana, integrandose facilmente a ese estilo de vida, yendo de compras, saliendo a discotecas y conociendo mas de la vida y del sueño americano y haciendo amistades.
Durante los años 90's, viaja frecuentemente a la ciudad de New York, donde descubre, conoce y comparte con otras personas atraidas por el encanto de la musica. Frecuenta intituciones de Musica y baile tales como Sound Factory, El Tunel y Limelight con el legendatio Sourth Beach venues of salvation, Pump, The Warsau, The Mix y Liquid se convierten estos en sitios visitados con frecuencia por ella . Durante este tiempo tuvo la oportunidad de escuchar y compartir con varias leyendas tales como Junior Vasquez, Peter Rauhofer,Danny Tennaglia, Hex Hector, Jason Ojeda, Dimitri, Mobi entre otros .
Luego, la admiracion hacia estos grandes de la musica sirvio de inspiracion en el futuro de su carrera y su pasion por la musica se agiganto mas al disfrutar de DJs femeninas como DJ Heather , DJ Erie, Alyson Calagna Y Susan Morabito.
Luego de ver estas magnificas artistas de la musica, se dio a la tarea de convertirse en una Dj, ahorrando algun dinero para comprar su primer equipo (Deck) y el resto es historia. En los pasados 6 años como una Mariposa haciendo una metamorfosis surgio la transformacion de Vanessa a VButterfly,Dj artista de primera, despues de haber aprendido a estar preparada para todo lo bueno y lo malo que brinda esta industria y negocio de la musica, enfocando no solo en el corazon sino encarando objetivamente el negocio, analizando que su perseverancia y dedicacion seria la clave que la llevarian al exito. VButterfly toma su tarea muy en serio de llevar a su publico a vibrar al unisono con ella, sabiendo que al asistir a sus actuaciones saldran satisfechos del inequivocable talento y calidad de su persona, su musica, escogiendo lo mejor de su repertorio y envolviendo a todos en sus presentaciones dejando satisfechos a sus seguidores y añadiendo asi mas fanaticos a sus futuras actuaciones.Energica, buen gusto en la seleccion de su musica, exigiendose mas cada dia para lograr y mantener el exito obtenido.
Esto es mas que el dinero, es el sentir la satisfaccion de hacer musica en un campo en el que no es facil para una mujer. Su consejo a otras futuras Djs es, caminar con la frente en alto, dar el maximo y traer buenas vibraciones a su audiencia, mantenerse enfocada mirando a la meta de ser la mejor, no aceptar un "no" de personas que no tengan
la capacidad musical y por ultimo aceptar la competencia como un reto para mejorar y ser y seguir siendo la mejor en este dificil pero bonito camino que es la musica en la que todos somos uno.
