Dozi is steadily moving towards her goal as a studio owner/engineer. As she progresses, her productions are bigger than ever. With a certification in music technology with Lil Drumma Boy Recordings, she is confident that she can soon compete with the very best and make a mark in the music world. Not as a female producer but an awesome producer! In early 2009 she started "Get Go Productions" and has not turned back. The best way to go hard, is to GO HARD and that is the foundation of her motivation. With credits that stem from east coast, west coast and down south she has built her fan base all across the country. She has several hit songs that include Irate the MC, Stranga The Great, Gee Cee, RL The Gifted, and Ms Ness.
Soon after starting Get Go Productions, Dozi began her journey to gain more knowledge of the music business the best way she knew how. Attending conference and building relationships with people who could help her. She began right in her hometown Philly attending an IStandard Producer Showcase that gave her the idea to get to more events like that. Locally supporting such artists like Honest Phire and Key West, she was soon directed to Jodie of Exponent Ent. From there she was introduced to more possibilities in which to create her own path. After attending the first Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Conference in New York, where Tone Trump was headlining representing Philly and the P.S.P. movement with Dj NoPhrillz, she returned to Philly with a clear goal. She ventured to see how many female producer/engineers were buzzing in Philly and found none. The path was clear and she buckled down and moved forward becoming the FIRST female producer to enter the IStandard Producer Showcase Philly Style and leave a forever lasting mark..... Dozi was here!
Maintaining her top 30 rank on Reverbantion has been quite easy due to "good music". She has abandoned the idea of chasing the radio and labels and directed her energy on perfecting her craft....making good music. She has several projects in the works and plan to make them as original as she is. Working out of her home studio she has accomplished a lot and when she achieves her goal of having a commercial studio the sky's the limit!!
Dozi can be found weekly on the Maestro listening sessions at 7pm http://www.listeningsession.com where she has been supportive and supported by Maestro himself as well as fellow producers that frequent the weekly show. A family of up n comers who is changing the way the audience listens to music.
