"Avant-Garde Metal cannot be treated like other genres, such as Black, Death, Doom, Thrash, etc. Those genres are rooted in similar aesthetics and ideologies, leading to strong commonalities amongst bands united under one genre. With the Avant-Garde, on the other hand, there really is no common aesthetic or ideology. [1] The bands have to be taken on a one-by-one basis, evaluated individually rather than on genre aesthetics." - Wesley D. Cray
I have bought written in water three times!!So by my calculations you owe me $20.C'mon give it up or come out with a new one so I can buy that three times.
thanks for adding me!!I am not gonna say something new..you are a great inspiration, soundtrack of great and sad times always there to fill the absence of my thoughts!
At first, thank you very much for you music! "Written in waters" is one of a few favourite albums, if not that, I like at most! The melodic and rhythmic... ...and the singing. Thank you for adding me in you friendlist, greetings and in future good work with Virus, Stefan/Licht- und Schattensaiten
Hi, Thanks a lot for accepting my request. I am a recent Ved Buens Ende / Virus fan (I have discovered them a few months ago). I listen Written in Waters or Carheart at least one time every day. It's so inventive and emotional... it makes me shivers. You are definitely the best band ever. The perfect music ? I hope not, I wanna live a few years more... Thanks again, and keep up that amazing job. Greetings from Fêche l'Eglise.
Thanks for the add. I will never forget the first time I heard 'Written in Waters', you have no idea of the impact it had on me. It fulfilled a deep seated yearning I have held since childhood...for something different, like the sky being purple instead of blue. You changed my perception of music & what is possible. I waited my whole life to hear this music! Thank you so fucking much!
great fucking music guys! i can always count on norway to bring me awesome sounds. anyway, i/we will be recording soon (professionally) and putting out a cd. i'd love to do a split with you guys, if you don't mind. anyway, thanks for the add, and stop by and let me know what you think if you have the time.
Thanks for the add!Standing alone in the norwegian scene, simply for not following the traditional or "true" path of norwegian black metal, Ved Buens Ende always seemed to create a more individual and unique sound...
