About Vegas Assault (Final Show: 16/08/09 Redditch)

Vegas Assault are an experimental hard-rock band that formed in October 2006 and immediately provided themselves as an outlet for people who were sick of the normality of the local talent around these parts. Combining a modern edge with love and respect for bands that have influenced them since they were in single digits means that VA create explosive and memorable performances for whoever wants to witness something heartfelt and real. When it comes to creating their music, they reach into all members different musical influences and genres including hard rock, punk, metal, avant garde, stoner rock, doom and other experimental genres to create their own brand of experimental hard rock.
The band did not rush their entrance into the field of live music, instead deciding to hone their craft and make sure they were a well-oiled unit. That’s not to say they are the finished product, far from it, but they are a product that continually improves and impresses. Vegas Assault are a band who pride themselves on their live shows. They will guarantee you a strong, serious and passionate musical showing mixed with a light, party and often comedic atmosphere that appeals to a wide range of audiences.
Lead vocalist Dave Collins decided to depart the band in January 2009 to work on other interests. The band searched high and low to find a singer to replace Dave, but we're unable to suitably replace him. However, to the delight of the band Dave agreed to perform one last hometown show in August 2009.

The Silk Stocking Striptease Show Nine will be taking place on the 8th of August 2009 at The Flapper Pub. Tickets will cost you £7.50 in advance from www.birminghamburlesque.com and will be on sale until midday on the 8th of August. You will be able to buy tickets on the door at £9 each, subject to availability. The doors to the show open at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 8:30pm.

Hey Vegas! I have a bit of a problem, and need to ask for help! TRIGGER are playing the main stage at Bromsgrove Carnival on Sat 27th June in the afternoon, but our bassist has been called into work unexpectedly. Just thought I'd update you on the band stuff, we are through to the National Final of Live and Unsigned 2009. Playing in Portsmouth on 27th June. The winners win £20,000 investment and a single release. The final vote is done by text so if you were willing to support us it would be brilliant if you could text Unsigned2 to 84222. The texts cost £1 but it's a massive help to getting us one step closer to winning the competition.

Hey! well... I cannot begin to thank you enough for accepting our friend request :) Anyways, we are Mundus currently a two peice band from Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham... we've been together for less than a month and the support and interest is amazing... I honestly did'nt expect this much support. So it looks like we might be quite popular. We are only a two peice band at the moment, we are seeking other member to join us... another guitarist, a bass player and a drummer is REALLY needed! As soon as we complete the line up... you can sure as hell expect to see us gigging in Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon and possibly other places... we'd love for you to come when we do!
