I just finished Chuck Plahniuk's Survivor, Johnathoan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke, and the Kite Runner by Khaled Hoseini. Plahniuk's Fight Club was cool too. Also just finished Phyllis Diller's biography and Joe Keenan's My Lucky Star. Mark Gatiss' two books about his private dick Lucifer Box are a fun read as well. Look for The Vesuvius Club and The Devil in Amber. My Life in France, by Julia Child
Heroes
I have inspirations, but heroes are for people who don't think that they can achieve the same level of excellence. Wow, that was either profound, or will make me sound like an asshole.
About me: I live in fabulous Las Vegas and I love to travel. I've been good. Going on a mini vacation with my hubby for 5 days this weekend,to Gulf Port/Biloxi Beach. Not my fav spot but it will do. He wants to do some metal detecting... lol. Thinks hes gonna find some treasures after all the huricanes I guess.
