About me:

I'm Ray Sammartano, a long-time vegan, writer, musician, computer geek, animal lover, and increasingly hairless primate. Many fellow vegans (and others) are familiar with my partner Beverly Lynn Bennett's amazing vegan recipes. In 2005, we wrote The Complete Idiot's Guide to Vegan Living together. It's the first book on veganism put out by the publishers of any of the major "how to" series of books, including the "For Dummies" and the "Everything" series. In August 2008, we released another book for the Idiot's Guide series, this time called The Complete Idiot's Guide to Vegan Cooking. If you are in need of some advice or info regarding any aspect of living or eating as a vegan, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm passionate about compassionate and healthy living, and I'm eager to help.
