Happy Veggie Week :o) .... my son had to spend 2 days in hospital after breaking his leg.... the menu he was offered was "chips and beans" "jelly" and then the dreaded "tuna sandwich".... I was so proud when he mentioned to the staff that tuna was not a vegetable ;o) thank goodness the hospital cafe had humous sarnies for sale or we would have both starved!

Sage Wholefoods has been severely struggling due to unexpected legal costs this year, and due to competition in the organics market from neighbouring supermarkets.
Regretfully, we will be closing our doors for the last time at 8pm on Wednesday 31 October 2007. Come along and say hello/goodbye!
The feedback we have had from the local community has been overwhelmingly supportive of what we do, what we stand for and the people who now make up the Sage Wholefoods Cooperative. The store and the Sage Community Garden are clearly valued as an integral part of Moseley, and we are all incredibly sad that this is happening.
We have greatly appreciated your continued support for your local Not-For-Profit Workers’ Cooperative.
Hi everyone. I just found out today that Peanut M&M's are not suitable for vegetarians. It's to do with the colouring they use. It comes from some kind of insect, I think cochineal. Urrrgh! Not nice, so I won't be eating them again. For more information you can contact their consumer line on 0800 952 1234. I wish they would make these things suitable for vegetarians.
